Zoo Garden

This year I am the Heritage Zoo garden volunteer person. :)

A few friends of mine got together and prepared the soil for our growing season. The kids helped and it was a blast. I am making this project a homeschool project for the kids.

Working on planting seeds and plants.

The kids were so into this ...... it was great to see and for them to experience.

They know they are growing food for the animals in the zoo.

I took this photo while we were leaving the zoo. This peacock allowed the kids to get very close and touch him. He was showing off his beautiful colors.
