Pirate Ship Tour!

The flag of "Brother Hood."

I am pretty lucky to have Captain Shep as a contact. He is an amazing guy and very interesting to talk to when talking about the old pirating days. He made this pirate ship replica with his own hands. It is amazing! I set up a special tour for some of our Treasure Island cast.

Top left is a real sextant! That is one of Kayla's lines and she actually got to see a "real" one. The captain and the first mate were the only ones who knew how to use it and to read the maps on board the ships. The pirates needed them or they would not know where they were going. The sword collection is just awesome!

The treasure chests, skulls, empty bottles of rum and booty that lay around the ship is so cool to see! Even a 8 pound cannon ball!

Thanks Captain Shep!

SOFTBALL!

Shae's first softball game.

It started out super fun while thinking about getting her uniform on.The cool helmet that she shared with a friend of ours. A little big but fun to wear!

She gave it her all to hit the ball!
And she got on base! Great job Shae!

CHALK IT UP! 2011 ~ Prescott, AZ

This is our third year attanding the Prescott Chalk It Up event. The girls were so excited to attend! A couple of days before we planned out what we wanted to create on the street. Below is what we decided on.

Shae's finished art work.
Kayla's finished art work.

I decided to go with a toucan. It took about 3 hours to complete.

We had a blast and lots of our friends showed up and hung out. These are the days that make us LOVE living where we do!

Great Skate fun!

I arranged for a private party at Great Skate in Phoenix a few weeks ago and it was a blast!

It was for the tri-city homeschoolers and we had the entire place to ourselves.

Some of the moms. And yes, we put on the skates too!

Stopped at Anthem on the way home and holly molly there was an ice cream truck in the parking lot.
