OPERATION HELP ME WITH MY MISSION

I have a family that I personally know who is having a super hard time and basically Christmas is out of the question this year. Oh no it's not!!! My friend and I are going to ask everyone we know to help us out to make this family have a great Christmas.
It is amazing what friends can do and their connections of friends as well. I just voiced for help 3 days ago and already have checks being mailed to me for the family, gift cards and clothing.
Just today I went out shopping for the family and picked up most of these items pictured for the youngest boy. A wonderful person, Mrs. Peach donated some nice warm jackets, shorts and sweat pants and more to come. WOW!
I must say that my friends ROCK!! I have another wonderful friend (Kim and her husband John) who are donating a leather couch and kitchen table and chairs and clothes for my adopt-a-family. And thanks Joy for your donation and for asking your neighbor and getting us 3 boxes of boy stuff. My husbands aunt, good friends Kathy, Lori, Michelle, Jennifer and I am sure more are going to help out as well. You all are just wonderful people and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Really!
I have been wanting to adopt a family that I know.
My prayer was answered and I had no idea how bad this family that I have known for 2 years has been struggling.
OPERATION HELP ME WITH MY MISSION!
We can still use socks (boy size youth shoe size 12 and mens socks shoe size 11 and womens socks shoe size 8), boys size 8,10,12 long sleeve shirts, sweat shirts ans short sleeve shirts; boys pants size 8 and 10; men's undershirts (adult size L and XL), teenage boy size L long sleeve and short sleeve shirts, (anything a teenage 14 year old girl would love, gift cards, cash for bills that are far behind on everything, kitchen towels and bath towels and wash cloths and anything you can give.
I included a wide range of sizes to help this family beyond the next few months. We all know kids grow so a variety of sizes will help out the most long term.
Nothing needs to be new! Go thru your closets and toy stash ... ask your friends and neighbors who have kids these ages and even things that a dad and mother may want or need that you don't use anymore or was given but never opened.
If you would like to help please comment on this entry with your email address and I will contact you.
Thanks for all you can do!
